LED phototherapy Dermalux

Phototherapy is one of the most relaxing dermatological treatments used to rejuvenate the skin, reduce inflammation after aesthetic procedures and treat various dermatological problems, such as acne, psoriasis or skin inflammation. LED light is known for its therapeutic properties and is very effective, especially given its completely non-invasive, painless application.

Indications:

  • Inflammation following aesthetic procedures;
  • Acne,
  • Psoriasis;
  • Inflammation of the skin, including AD;
  • Slowing down the ageing process;
  • Excessive keratosis.

How to prepare for the procedure:

  • A medical consultation, which can be carried out on the day of the procedure.
  • When preparing for the procedure, the patient should abstain from taking any photosensitising medications, herbs and ointments.

Procedure description and effects:

  • LED phototherapy has a wide range of applications. It is used to treat a number of dermatological conditions as well as following aesthetic procedures to reduce swelling, erythema, inflammation, and enable a faster return to daily activities.
  • Dermalux is a device that uses LEDs that produce blue, red light, and near-infrared radiation. As a result, the wavelength can be precisely adjusted and selected to suit a specific problem.
  • Often one treatment is not enough to achieve the desired result, however, the number of treatments depends on the individual case. It can also be carried out as a standalone treatment following other aesthetic procedures (needle mesotherapy, platelet-rich plasma), because it strengthens the action of active ingredients and speeds up convalescence.

After the procedure:

  • The patient can immediately return to their daily activities.

Contraindications:

  • Hypersensitivity to light,
  • Pregnancy,
  • Melanoma.
